Lyrics to 'Cattle And Cane' by Go-betweens. I recall a schoolboy coming home Through fields of cane To a house of tin and timber And in the sky A rain of falling cinders.

Sep 16,  · Now Mumford & Sons have gone all "rock" (sarcasm alert), there’s a folk-ish gap for a new band to fill. Cattle & Cane are comprised of singer-songwriter Joseph Hammill and three other Hammills.

Mar 11,  · I downloaded the pdf for Cattle in the corn now too. I probably would be able to find some Cattle in the cane kind of version if I had some time to listen to it and play along some recording, but I never have time for that. I seriously think that a week is a very short time, at least for me, to learn a tune to make a decent recording.

Dec 18,  · Cattle In The Cane is a spirited Bluegrass tune. Here I play the rhythm; although, I made some adjustments for time keeping sake, based on the instrumental by Tony Rice. There are many renditions.
