The Pagans broke up in late ’79 without ever issuing an album. The band’s first longplayer (informally known as The Pink Album was in large part the result of a reunion gig (only Hudson and guitarist Tommy Gunn are holdovers from the old days), pressed as a limited-edition ( copies) live LP.

ODDLY, the Think Pink album on the Blue Cheer cd seemed to have better sound quality than the one I ended up getting. That may have something to do with the labels which released it. Both the Blue Cheer and Twink albums were later released by an Italian company, Akarma Records. It MAY be the case that the Twink cd I have is from a different label/5(34).

This CD and the Pink Album CD both have more studio trax and have live trax not on the LP versions. The LP version of this CD actually, in a rare move, has a track that's not on either CD 'Jaguar Ride' from If you love punk you'll love this album.

The whole double concept album was entirely re-made in Pro-Tools in a computer, to produce this SACD - CD hybrid disc. If you have equipment that has the transparency and capability this SACD-CD will give War Of The Worlds at a quality between 48KHz 24Bit and 96KHz 24Bit/5().
